Fried prawns
On first eating it, James asked 'Who knew you could cook seafood at home?'. Delicious.
Takes 20 minutes to cook.

Ingredients
  • prawns
  • oyster sauce + ketchup (50%, 50%)
  • white pepper
  • cooking wine
  • sesame oil
  • coriander + spring onion to garnish
  • garlic + ginger
  • sugar
Instructions
  • Deshell and detail the prawns - devein if you can be bothered.
  • 1 hour before cooking, marinate in salt, white pepper, sesame oil and sugar.
  • Heat up pan to high heat and add prawns. Don't move them around too much.
  • When they are 70% done, add garlic and ginger and turn heat down to medium.
  • When they are 90% done, add oyster sauce + ketchup.
  • When they are practically done, garnish and turn off the heat.
